Needleshy horses can come in all shapes and sizes and can make vet visits and treatments stressful and dangerous. Below is a video provided by The British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) which provides an example of some prior training and desensitization that you can do with your horse before your veterinary consult to assist in creating a quiet, relaxed and safe experience for not only you and the vet but your horse aswell.
